Robin Thicke's Second Single is the 'Sweetest'
Robin Thicke's new album was supposed to drop yesterday, but we have to wait a few more weeks to wrap ourselves up in the soul of Something Else. In the meantime and between time, however, the second single has been chosen and has already hit the airwaves and the net. On "The Sweetest Love," Robin slows and strips it down. This song is very reminiscent of "Can You Believe," the last single from The Evolution of Robin Thicke. When I first played it I had to look at the tracklist from Evolution to make sure that this song wasn't on there. I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but the song is enjoyable nonetheless. Although I would have preferred that Robin follow up the party starter that was "Magic" with another booty-shaker, this is definitely a track to cue up after the dance.

I like the music and lyrics way better than his voice

But kinda off-topic, let me just say I far prefer his falsetto to JT's. Was I the only one unfortunate enough to see Timberlake whine all over the Marvin Gaye catalog @ Fashion Rocks? My fault for tuning in, but LAWD. Nasalicious. And the less said about Beyonce's "Etta", the betta.
