'The Way I See It', This Tour Could 'Evolve' Into the Stuff of 'Legend'

Bouncers, are you ready for some serious soul music? I can't hear you. I say, are you ready for some serious soul music?!?!?  Well, good. Because that's exactly what's coming your way this fall as Columbia Records label mates and Grammy-award winning artists John Legend and Raphael Saadiq head out on tour together this fall in support of their new albums. Legend will headline and dazzle with material from each of his albums, including the new release Evolver, which hits stores October 28th. Saadiq, fresh from multiple sold-out performances in support of his new disc, The Way I See It, will join Legend for the first leg of the tour, which kicks off November 19th in Minneapolis with stops along the way in Detroit, Boston, Philly and DC before concluding on December 13th in Durham, NC. If you know like we know, and you love soul music, this is the tour for you! Check after the bounce for the full 14-date itinerary, and keep hitting up Ticketmaster as more dates become available.

I would love to check this one out, but i HATE Tower Theater. Best way to eff up someone's concert experience is to have it in a venue with bad sound or seriously cramped quarters (or BOTH). So much for my Philly experience! :(

I loveee Saadiq. Dag they don't even come through NY. Guess I may have to hit up Jersey or DC....Probably DC :-)

I'm in DC, but I think I will go to the show either in Baltimore or Charlotte because the acoustics in Constitution Hall are bad, bad, bad.

Oh lawd jesus!!! This is what I need in my life. And I thought i would wither and die because john has a concert out here in a few days and the tix sold out in a matter of hours, but this must mean he is coming back...I hope. He can't possibly be touring with Raphael and not come to Oakland...right? Please lawd let them touch down over here.

oh that's NICE.
