Hip-Hop at War
'Most Hated Hip Hop Figures' Hits The Internet
Rap Up's "10 Most Hated Hip Hop Figures of 2008" is here, and we can't say that we totally disagree. DMX, Karrine "Superhead" Steffans, Tony Yayo, Lil' Wayne and T-Pain and his Auto-Tune round out spots 6 through 10, while 50 Cent, Suge Knight, R Kelly, Soulja Boy and Rick Ross take the top spots, all in ascending order. One question I have to ask though is, does lying about your past record as a corrections officer while you continue to portray a role as a former "snow pusher" that you cultivated so well in rhyme worse than being caught on film giving "golden showers" to a minor? Methinks not. Despite my disagreement with who should take the top spot, there are a few Hip Hop figures that we have grown to know and loathe. Of the top of our heads, Kanye West is campaigning very hard to earn the number one spot next year with his childish antics and belief that he is Karl Lagerfeld incarnate, and I still can't wrap my head around why Foxy Brown is not on the list. Wasn't this the same woman whose trigger finger is about as bad as Naomi Campbell's when it comes to throwing objects at those most unsuspecting? And don't get me started on KRS-One. What say you, Bouncers? Who are some of your most despised Hip Hop figures to date?

SouljaBoy should be boycotted by every single black person in the world for his comments praising slavery. It is the ultimate in ignorance. Why should Rick Ross be made to feel ashamed of being a former correctional officer? Being a member of the law enforcement community is something more blacks should strive toward instead of being proud of being a jailed inmate. RKelly was found innocent of those false charges despite attempts of his former friends and his own brother to black mail him They saw deep pockets of money from a RKelly conviction and thankfully failed. So much of the rap and Hip Hop has become nothing but minstrel like and has made blacks all over the world totally ashamed.

T-Pain - Take a shower you nasty looking pudgy bastard
Lil Wayne - Get a chin implant you gremlin looking bastard
Jim Jones - dope fiend, always high, grow up you unkept looking bastard. Keep Jay's name out of your marbled speaking mouth.
I'm gonna add Ja Rule to the list. He got so caught up in doing the R&B/Hip Hop songs that when 50 came for his jugular, he never recovered. And what was his latest comeback? That single, Body? It went quadruple wood and bubbled under before it even got legs.

I love this topic! Historically, I'll say Roxanne Shante was the rapper people loved to hate although I personally loved her sass and razor sharp wit. Cam'Ron is noteworthy because of distinct aroma stankness. How come Diddy isn't on the list? He's Satan's spawn according to those that have worked with him. And finally, it's a tie between Star of Star & Buckwild fame as well as Miss Jones. Nuff said.
