I commend Rolling Stone for at least getting today's contemporary music artists involved with this list. Although it doesn't not explain why there weren't a lot of female singers on this list.

Both the male and female artists have a lot of male singers on their lists.
Interesting.
MJ shoulda had a garage sale at Neverland Ranch. I'm sure somebody can use a used llama.
