Glad to read I'm not the only one who picked up on the condescending tone some "enlightened" rappers have towards Hip Hop and its (Black) fans. I actually liked Kanye's new material, but was turned off when he said "his apartment was too nice to play Hip Hop in". One only needs to substitute "Black" for "Hip Hop" to get the real message!

Wow, I'm so happy to read about John Forte's reduced prison sentence. What a fabulous Christmas present! His blog was dead for over a year and I wondered what happened. He is a phenomenal writer and should definitely write a book about his experience. Can't wait for a new album. I listen to "I, John" at least once a week.
