Brandy's Newest Video An Ode to 'Long Distance' Relationships

"Long Distance," the second single from Brandy's highly anticipated disc Human hit the net this week just ahead of the album's release next Tuesday. The clip, which starts off in black and white and climaxes with a technicolor, all-wet Brandy, is an ode to the near impossibility of surviving long distance relationships. The song was co-produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and according to him, should see Brandy get nominated for a Grammy. I'm not sure about all of that, since it's not my favorite song from Brandy, but it is a nice midtempo track that should help lift the album. Time will tell. In the meantime, check the Chris Robinson-directed clip below.

I'm really feeling Brandy's album. I'm especially in love with "Camouflage." But then again, I've always enjoyed her voice no matter what she sings. It's different from what she normally does, but it's an appropriate comeback considering all she's been through in the last few years. I wouldn't expect to hear her singing about meeting some dude at the club.

Is it me or did she have a nose job? Her face looks a little funny. If you look at Moesha and some old pics the nose seems a little wider?

What's wrong with a wide nose?

Yeah. She obviously caught onto the fact that there are PLENTY of teenagers hooking up with strangers on the internet. God, she's annoying.

I have listened to Human all the way through .... and there isn't really much to say!

I was SO looking forward to her return (especially after her appearance on Evolver) but it's just a little boring. The 2 singles are pretty solid but I was looking for more from her 'comeback'.

This song is really pretty, strong vocals from Brandy
The video is one of the more creative of 2008
Props!

My favorite thing may just be the animated bullet holes in the World Star Hip Hop logo.

I mean, REALLY, WSHH?
