A Soulful Noise
Ne-Yo and VH1 Save The Music Bring Holiday Cheer to an Atlanta School
In case you're a sitting on a large trust fund and know nothing of the plight of the common folk, you understand that this recession is no joke. And when it comes to already fledgling public school arts programs, it's just as sobering. In all probability they will be the first to go during some inevitable programming cutbacks. So when Ne-Yo pulled up to an Atlanta elementary school and handed them a check for $30,000 courtesy of VH1 Save The Music and an anonymous donor to invest in instruments it was very welcome. What a nice holiday gift! 'Tis always the season to save music in our schools. [AJC]
