Of all the events at which to reemerge, The Super Bowl might be the most spectacular. It was recently announced that Jennifer Hudson will be performing at American football's biggest night by E! News, and an NFL spokesperson confirmed that J.Hud will indeed be performing at the game on February 1st. After the unimaginably tragic events last year, and a few false re-starts--a wrongly reported inauguration performance, a canceled music video shoot--of her still accelerating music career, it's hard to fathom the sheer fortitude it would take to carry on and to publicly declare your strength of spirit on a telecast that averages over 100 million viewers.
This announcement comes on the tail of her Grammy nominations and her NAACP Image Award Nominations. We are definitely ready for Jenny to step back into the spotlight that's been waiting patiently for her return. No matter which teams end up playing in the championship, I'm rooting for Team Hudson!
