Ashanti Wants To Give You 'The World'
Well, well, well. Look who's back! Ashanti, who lately was becoming known more for dating Nelly and her weight gain (shame on you, tabloids!), has a new single. "The World" finds Ashanti shouting everyone out, from the East Coast with reggae-inspired flair to the West Coast with a synth-heavy Dr. Dre-sounding beat. Is this song a bit predictable? Yes, but then has Ashanti done anything unpredictable? Not really. This one should do well in the clubs, if anything. Score one for her for putting out a catchy track.
