Public Enemy & The Roots Bring It On Jimmy Fallon

Before entering into any discussion about the video below, please understand that Flavor Fav is 50 years old. That makes Public Enemy and Fav cohort Chuck D older than you may wish to admit to yourself. Now that you are feeling a bit old, let's also examine the awesomeness that is PE's seminal "Bring The Noise" performed not only with Late Night With Jimmy Falllon's house band The Roots, but the fact that the old school-ness was kept intact with a performance by the S1Ws. Not only does this performance knock, but it rivals any other performances I personally have seen of this song since I last saw it performed when PE was sharing a bill with DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, EPMD, and some very precocious Beastie Boys. It might not be 1988, but this song and its performance still holds up through the sands of time.
