Natalie Cole Pleas For New Kidney On CNN, Offers Roll In
Last night Natalie Cole appeared on CNN's Larry King Live
to discuss her diagnosis with Hepatitis C, struggle with renal failure and urgent need for a kidney transplant. Cole shared with Larry King that her disease was caused by years of drug abuse and that despite aggressive chemotherapy, her kidneys failed last year and she's on an ever-growing list for a kidney transplant because her son and sister are not matches. Facing the remainder of her life on dialysis may not be Natalie's fate, however, because during the program King presented her with a stack of emails from viewers willing to donate their kidneys to the ailing entertainer. Cole was humbled and amazed by the outpouring of kindness from her fans.

I'm going to voice an unpopular opinion here. This woman is using her celebrity to help get a kidney when children and other unknown adults every year from not being able to get the organs they need. And I'm sorry Natalie but you helped harm yourself with all the drug abuse etc and now you want a kidney from someone? I tell you no.
