Ghostface Killah Lays It Down 'Forever'
I should be tired of this same Ghostface Killah formula: an old Soul sample, likely from the '70s; him rhyming masterfully over said track; and him singing some little ditty for the hook. I should be tired of this by now. Yet, I am not. As if I need another reason to fuel my years-long crush on this man, Ghost has decided to lace us all with a song about friendship, sex, and true love on "Forever," as in "you never have to suck in your gut...we got each other through the bad and the best of time[s]." How refreshing to have Hip Hop offer a mature view of love.
