MC Lyte Takes Us To 'Brooklyn'
Brooklyn, where ya at? It doesn't matter where in the world you go, there's usually somebody from New York there and more often than not they're from Brooklyn. (I'm partial to my birthplace the Boogie Down Bronx, but I digress.) Brooklynite MC Lyte shows love to her borough in the video for the aptly named "Brooklyn." She takes us on a tour while flowing in a island twang on the track. Kudos to Lyte for still reppin' hard for women in Hip Hop without showing her ass or spitting that hot foolishness. Now if she could only put a muzzle on her cousin.
