'Turn My Swag On' Never Sounded So Soulful!
Leave it to Phonte. At a recent Foreign Exchange show in Toronto, he took his already entertaining member introductions to the next level. With the band in full, although relaxed, swing, he offers "With this kinda Neo-Soul shit, you can take any ignorant song and make it into a Neo-Soul song." Cut to: Soulja Boy's "Turn My Swag On." We wish he'd had the foresight to do this during their DC stop with Aunt Viv in the audience, so that her side-eye could pop from her skull and roll across the stage. That would've entertained me.
