Anthony David Goes In On 'Every Trend'
Our play cousin Anthony David is back on his remix grind. We've previously heard his versions of songs by Estelle, Ryan Leslie and Q-Tip and now he goes in on Lil Wayne and Young Money's "Every Girl." Acey Duecy goes hard on "I Wish I Could Buck Every Trend" with hilarious and spot-on commentary about a few of the tired trends of today. Fellas, if you're guilty of wearing do-rags or sagging skinny jeans, and, big girls, if you wear your clothes two sizes too small, then you may want to avoid this song lest your faces get cracked. But for everyone else, press play below and get your laugh on at their trendy expense.

And so very true...David Anthony should make a mix tape 'bucking' all the trends, because he straight rocked the sh*t outta this song, and all I can say is: DAMN! Brutha was playing around in the studio and sound fly as hell, you betta do it David Anthony!!
rhonda b! | July 21, 2009 9:14 PM | PermalinkThat song is absolutely OFF THE CHAIN!!!! I haven't heard from an artist who said everything I feel in a song just the way I'd like it said since Lauren Hill. I really hope this cut gets some mainstream airtime. These young folks really need to hear this. I knew before now but today I'm sure it's an absolute fact that me and Anthony David are soulmates.

hoodedmonk | July 21, 2009 7:34 PM | PermalinkThings that I owe AceyDeucy the next time I see him:
- a six pack of his fave brew
- 3 piece wings w/ extra mumbo
- a medal of valor
Shoulda throwed some auto-tune on this jont though. Woulda made it triller.
