Maxwell Is Not 'Pregnant'

Maxwell fans you can breathe a long, heavy sigh of relief. Contrary to the delusions of Tyrese a few weeks ago on Twitter, Maxwell is not on the new R. Kelly song "Pregnant." And thank the Lord, because after hearing a snippet of the track, which Tyrese erroneously described as a new school version of Quincy Jones' "Secret Garden" featuring himself, R., Max, Robin Thicke and The-Dream, this song is a ghetto nightmare. But Maxwell set the record straight this morning via Twitter to let people know that he's not involved in the project. Whew! Should you care to listen to Kells latest hoodrat carol, hit the bounce for the snippet featuring Tyrese and Ryan Leslie.

First of all, I didn't know there was a high demand for Secret Garden 2. Get the heck out of here. Second of all, Maxwell wouldn't even think about being on that messy track. Finally, "auto coons"? My love for SoulBounce just doubled.

R.Kelly should be locked up or at least prohibited from being within 50 feet of any child under the ges of say 19. Tyrese couldnt sell oranges next to the freeway, his singing career is over, he needs to stick to bit parts in movies. Robin Thicke must be desperate to even associate himself with a song called Pregnant. I dont know if the dream, robin or tyrese have ever heard the phrase "guilty by association"..........................If you hang with a pedophile, you probably ARE a pedophile. Maxwell, stay the hell away from these "auto-Coons" as Ill Mami calls them and keep doing grown man things.

As stated before, such an unbelievable waste of talent. However, we now know his lyrics and level of maturity are directly related. This is definitely for the teenagers. Big ups to Maxwell for quickly disassociating himself from this song.

R. Kelly is such a talent.. when he uses it to make good music. Otherwise, it is a waste.. damn shame

Tyrese should be the last person talking about getting a woman pregnant when there were rumours that he beat his ex-wife while she was with child

The Dream.. whatever.. at least the man has not been on the wrong side of the law

This song is a perfect example of what Auto-Coons can accomplish when they put their minds together to highly offend those with discriminating musical tastes.

Ick.

Now Kells knows DAMN well he ain't meeting a girl in the club....unless she had a fake ID....

R. Kelly needs to sit his arse down somewhere and stay there for a few years to think about how he a waste of talent he has become. And any artist that co-signed this song needs to be chin checked. And to think these are supposedly GROWN MEN singing about getting you pregnant! Argh....

Thank you Maxell for not being on this song and showing much class and grace by wishing this ish success.

What a relief..... I didn't want to believe Maxwell would lend his name, talent, sensibility to that mess of a song...

Tyrese is my boy and everything, but dammit if he doesn't say some of the dumbest shit known to man sometimes! Comparing this fuckery to "Secret Garden" is like when Whitney said Bobby Brown was the King of R&B!

This song goes "full retard"!

THIS IS NO 'SECRET GARDEN'. This nigga thinks it's romantic to impregnate another man's girl he met in the club, having her go through 9 months of hating his molestation ass.

And Tyrese ....smh....transfom negro and get out while you can.

*Breathes sigh of relief* Thank goodness! My eyes were hurting from the standstill side-eye I was possessing since I heard about this...Maxwell knows better.

I didn't even attempt to listen to the snippet because when I saw that three of the most condescending fools (Tyrese, The Nightmare and R. Kelly) were present, I didn't want to subject my ears to that kind of musical garbage.

wow. . .just when I thought songwriting had hit an all time low. I respect Maxwell's diplomatic class in reference to the collaborators, but we all know this is a ghetto carol - plain and simple.

Come on writers you can write better material than this........CRAP!

Whoa, that snippet made me throw up in my mouth a little.... so glad Maxwell is not on it!

We've got to do better.

"Knock you up" ???

No. That's unaccpetable. And you'll think so too when your 5-year-old cousin is reciting these lyrics next month.

This rumor has taken me from shock to disbelief to denial to relief.

All in the span of 12 hours. LOL
