It's been over two months since Michael Jackson passed away. Since then, we've been filling the void he left through his music, using it to mourn, to uplift, to laugh, to reminisce, and most importantly, to dance. With his body still not in the ground, it all still seems surreal. SoulBounce has taken pride in our coverage, gathering and sharing as many tributes to MJ as we possibly could, to celebrate an iconic musical life. There's one more tribute we'd like to share--this one from one of our favorites, Shanice. Upon hearing the tragic news back in June, she took to her YouTube channel and, as her voice cracked, sang an emotional, pain-tinged version of "She's Out of My Life." I have to admit that the song, her speech at the end, and the portrait of the two baby girls in the background, got me a bit misty. We're probably done with the tributes on the site, and it's time. Instead, we'll spend tomorrow celebrating his 51st birthday dancing, shouting, and shaking our bodies down to the ground. Happy Birthday, Michael Joseph Jackson. And Happy Friday to you all.
