Earlier this month, we let you know that Smokey Robinson's new CD, Time Flies When You're Having Fun, would be released this coming Tuesday, August 25th. Well, this week the video for the first single, "Don't Know Why," surfaced, and shows the man with the virtuoso falsetto in the studio as he remakes the Norah Jones Grammy-winning classic. Directed by Linda Cevallos-French, the clip mixes black and white sequences, mirroring Robinson's old school-to-new school staying power. In fact, I'd like to do a side by side comparison of 1950s Smokey and him today. He might just look better than he did then. Good times.
