Childhood Is Never Far Away In Your 'Mind'
For some inexplicable reason, I have been particularly wistful lately. Wistful for the aspects of my childhood that are hard to put into words. The aspects that conjure the olfactory, visual, and auditory memories that I can't escape. Looking at the beautifully shot video for Jeremy Enigk's "Mind Idea" helps to remind me of why I so long for times gone by. The video, directed by Eric Ulbrich, manages to expertly capture a day in the life of four brown-skinned skateboarding teens whose friendship and innocence are well understood by the viewer without one line of dialogue. I could wax poetic about this video all day long, but I won't. This video brings a smile to my face as it likely will to yours. [H/T: WAG]
