Ghostface & John Legend Want To 'Stop Playin'
By now you must surely know how I feel about Ghostface Killah. It's kind of embarrassing, but how can I contain my love for his teddy bear-cuddliness and superb gully rhyme flow? What isn't embarrassing is this track from the upcoming Ghostdini: Wizard Of Poetry featuring John Legend sounding smooth as usual with a nice reinterpretation of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On." Methinks John may want to reinvent himself as the go-to R&B crooner over Hip Hop tracks like his predecessor Carl Thomas once was. John did do rather smashingly on this track after all. Get your grown and sexy on once you press play.

Soulrific | September 15, 2009 1:15 PM | Permalinkthis is lovely. Ghostface in great form as always. brother Legend sounds really good on this. agreed on the Carl Thomas successor perspective...JL would make a killin' based off this song alone.
