Jagged Edge Are Back 'Full Time'
No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Yes, this is a post about a new Jagged Edge song. No, it is not 1998. Yes, the men with grown-ass voices from Atlanta are back. Yes, it is okay to rejoice. And, yes, it seems as though true R&B is back. Don't get me wrong: I love alternative-sounding Soul as much as the next person. But as of this exact point-in-time, my soul is craving the music that was so prevalent on Urban stations in my youth. Plus, my love for those twins Brian and Brandon Casey has been unwavering since I last bumped J.E. Heartbreak (best nod to New Edition ever). "Full Time Lover" is such a great track because it doesn't seek to reinvent the wheel. It just seeks to hearken back to a time that should have never left.

I like and will most likely end up loving it. Glad to hear they are back!
Tha Connoisseur | September 18, 2009 5:48 PM | PermalinkThe've got a few semi classic songs to their credit. They sound like humans, instead of computers. I aint mad, plus the hook is nice.
