Jesse Boykins III Wants You To 'Shine'
This is a cute video for a great song. Inspired by Spike Lee movies and Brooklyn, the video for Jesse Boykins III's "Shine" does have a decidedly New York feel to it. Stoops, hoops and storefronts abound as he sings about some hot weather appropriate things (like dragging ice down someone's skin) and even has the nerve to be singing about Jamaica when most of us are descending into a blistery cold end of the year. He's charismatic and breezes through this low-key groove with ease.

Jesse!!! I've known Jesse since middle school. I'm so proud of him. He has always had a beautiful voice and I knew he was going to utilize it in some way.
