Black Star Brings 'History' To Late Night
We all love a reunion. Especially when it's someone or something we've missed in our lives. Wednesday night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Black Star, which features Brooklyn homies Mos Def and Talib Kweli, reunited to perform their latest collaboration, "History," which appears on Mos' new album The Ecstatic. The rappers, known both for their collaborations and solo work, first partnered up in 1998 (Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star), and have performed together countless times through the years. However, this was the first time on national television, and alongside The Roots. Featuring Amber Coffman and Haley Dekle of the Dirty Projectors on backup, the performance is short and sweet, kinda like last night's dessert. And just like that dessert, enjoy.
