It never fails that songs that I often like by an artist rarely make their albums. Which in the case of Mary J.Blige's Stronger With Each Tear is a sin and a shame since that album was sorely lacking, in my opinion. But perhaps if "Closer," a cut that didn't make the cut, was included I might have liked at least one more song on that joint. Yeah, it's sad to say that Stronger is no My Life. I'm thinking that this song probably got kicked to the curb during production because it sounded too similar to the other Ryan Leslie contribution on the album, "Said and Done." But damn all that. I'd would have rather heard these two almost identical tracks than 80% of what remained.
