Jagged Edge Always 'Look Good'
Despite being a website that panders to the alternative side of Soul music, we have much love to R&B crooners Jagged Edge, in a shameless, unabashed way. In fact, it could be argued successfully that J.E.'s sound is such a throwback to when R&B's domain was in the bedroom and not the club--nor outer space for that matter--that their music, including this track "You Look Good With Me" can actually now be considered alternative to what mostly constitutes R&B these days. This song may not be the best Jagged Edge song I've ever heard, but it's certainly nice enough to hold my attention long enough to want to listen to it again.

taron | January 22, 2010 5:58 PM | PermalinkI kinda agree with stoney. I used to love JE and I own three of their CDs: JE Heartbreak, A Jagged Era & Hard however they really do make songs that sound exactly like 15 others they have. This track is cool.

These cat can sing but if you heard one JE song then you have heard all of JE's songs. They need a hit so bad it's not even funny. I rate them below NE, Jodeci, Boyz II Men, 112, Toni, Tony Tone and several R&B groups.
