Soul music lovers, 2010 is our year. If you had any question with albums by the likes of Sade, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, and many, many more on the horizon, then the news that Jill Scott is hard at work on her fifth studio album is the unequivocal answer. Entitled The Light of the Sun, Jill's new set will be released on Hidden Beach this Spring or Summer to be followed by her return to the stage as one of the headliners of this year's revival of the Lilith Fair festival. According to a press release highlighting this project, "the album embarks Jill on a flurry of emotional poetry as both her career and personal life have skyrocketed with success in Hollywood and birth of first child."
