The Mixologists: DJ Stylus

The qualities of a perfect mix--or at least one that comes close to perfection--is a melange of the expected with many surprises. Such mixes manage to pique your interest and elevate your mind down the lanes of musical genres that you may have once deemed out of your league. Such a mix delights, perplexes, and makes your hips dip in ways that you haven't managed to do since grinding while dancing was a requirement, not an option. All of this preamble was necessary to describe the latest mix by DJ Stylus--aka one of SoulBounce's Fifth Beatles--for The Mixologists. "The Carlton" is an ode to the King of All '90s Sitcom Nerds, Carlton Banks, and the sounds that he would likely be grooving to if were still around in 2010. All you dweebs, dorks, and weirdos who like to rock out with your pen protectors out, get ready, because have we got something for you. The doozy of a tracklisting is after the bounce.
