Lenny Kravitz Crashes Choir, Takes Our Cares 'Away'

New Orleans, birthplace of Jazz and rich in cultural history mecca that it is, is a town with music that oozes out of its soil. On any given day, you could hear the most amazing artists you'll know will never achieve mainstream success or run into some of your favorite artists such as N'Dea Davenport or Lenny Kravitz as I used to when I lived there. Speaking of Lenny, how amazing is it to see him rushing towards the scene of where some familiar chords struck his attention and were being played nearby in the French Quarter, only to find The Voice of Praise Choir from First Baptist Church of Lewisville belting out his hit "Fly Away" in front of Jackson Square. Even more awesome? He joined them for a performance that he, the choir, and the audience won't soon forget. Get your Sunday on and your praise on and prepared to be blown away. Or at least smile just a little. [H/T: SC]
