Theophilus London is bit of a hit-or-miss artist for me. Some of this music I've dug while most of it I haven't really been compelled to listen to it outside of a cursory listen. "Flying Overseas," his collaboration with Solange Knowles, wasn't a track I especially was feeling. Not because of their contemporary Pretty In Pink Andie Walsh-Duckie vibe they perpetually have going, but something about this track just wasn't doing it for me. The video, however, with its trippy effects and seaside backdrop is something I can fully support and is an example where the video really enhances the song. It's visually stunning to say the least.
