It Would Be A 'Shame' If You Missed Out On Jill Scott's New Video

After years of famine, we are in the midst of a Jill Scott feast, and I am enjoying every bit of this musical harvest. Although reaction has been mixed about the song "Shame," which we've learned is not the first single from her Light Of The Sun, I happen to love this jawn and my affinity for it has grown even more now that there's a video to put with the song. Filmed on location at her old stomping grounds at the Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center, Jill is bedazzling in a sequined tunic and leggings as she's joined by her Philly fam including Black Thought, Yameen Allworld, Meek Millz, Kindred the Family Soul, Peedi Crakk, Jeff Badshaw, and many more familiar faces. We also get introduced to three new voices on this cut and in the vid with The A Group making quite an entrance as her background singers. Eve steps on the scene to end the track with her typically wicked flow and looking as jazzy as ever. Everyone looks like they're having a good old time in this video, and if you were on the fence about this song before, mayhaps this fun treatment will change your mind.
