Applejac & Jessica Johnson Are Anything But 'A Mess'

A few months ago it took just one listen to one song by singer Jessica Johnson to convince me that she was an artist who would have next, and I felt it absolutely necessary to deem her Bounce-Worthy.

Now Applejac, the man who put me on to her, has shared some more of her music with me, and I see I made the right choice. Johnson sounds divine on "What A Mess," which is actually an outtake from Applejac's upcoming Playin' Favorites EP. He built the track on a Jay Dee chop for Black Star's "Little Brother," and she added her sugar and spice to the song with freestyled vocals. The result is something truly dope to appeal to all the mellow soul hop lovers out there. Since Applejac is a firm believer that sharing is caring, he's making this official leak available to the public for free download. Make haste to his SoundCloud page to get yours -- only 100 downloads are available and they're going fast.
