Planes, Trains & Automobiles Lead Jesse Boykins III ‘Back Home’

For a song about finding his way back home, it only made sense for Jesse Boykins III's video for "Back Home (Mermaids & Dragons)," from his stellar freEP Way of a Wayfarer, to feature him doing just that via various modes of transportation. The Dr. Woo-directed visuals aren't that cut and dry, though. We see Jesse and his epic hair in all its glory on different continents walking backwards, pop locking, and simply having what looks to be the time of his life, which you really can't be mad at even if there aren't any mermaids or dragons to be had.

I like his music, he definitely has a different approach- which is great because I love variety in music.
Also, he was jammin' in the video....lol *Pop locks*

Really like the video but I LOVE this song! In fact, "Way of the Wayfarer" is Jesse's most interesting, most ambitious music that he's produced yet imo. This is the progressive soul music that I worship--live for.
Him, Rahsaan Patterson, Muhsinah, Spree Wilson, Rochelle Jordan, and Tawiah are DELIVERING.
    I'm a lucky man.

I cant front, the first time I heard this song, I thought it was too digital for my tase but after time it has grown on me. The video is dope, refreshing, not one half naked woman, not one booty shot, not one maybach. Refreshing. Just refreshing.
