Rudy Currence Wants You To See 'THE O.T.H.E.R.' Side Of Him

Disturbing The Peace/Island Def Jam R&B phenom Rudy Currence recently released "THE O.T.H.E.R.," the first single off of his forthcoming mixtape Digital Analog. Listening to Rudy reactivated my standom for large-haired (and large-voiced) soul singers, and I believe he has the potential to give Maxwell a run for his money. "THE O.T.H.E.R." showcases Mr. Currence's considerable vocal talent, but to be honest I wanted strip away some of the Auto-Tune and synth so that I could get to his deliciously rich voice. He's a multi-instrumentalist and a country boy (he's from South Carolina, y'all) and the heat of his home state is reflected in the warmth of his vocal tone. Digital Analog drops November 22nd, but if you don't want to wait that long, cop the free download of "THE O.T.H.E.R." below.
