Lay Down On Jennifer Hudson's 'Pillows'
There's a new medical disorder that is plaguing the nation: Jennifer Hudson Fatigue. Maybe you suffer from it after being unable to escape her Weight Watchers commercials whenever you've turned on your television for the past six months or just this week with her media blitz to herald the release of her new book, I Got This. Methinks that what Jen's got is a ton of people tired of her ass, present company included. Maybe that's why the leak of this song entitled "Pillows" is particularly amusing to me seeing as I have mine arranged on my bed ready for me to take a long nap as I rest my JHud-weary soul. Although this song musically puts me in the mind of R. Kelly's "Feelin' On Yo' Booty" and has the same end game in mind, it does so in a far less ratchet way. It's good to hear Jen singing something a little sexier than usual and not warbling about it being a new day or believing in you and me. Getting back to the basics of her music might be just the cure for Jennifer Hudson Fatigue that we need.

Like a real addict, I must get my fix of Ms. Jennifer Hudson daily. I am feeling this song, it is just that good, you must agree with that. The Blogger maybe be tried of her, but I can not get enough of her. Keep the commericals and songs coming Jennifer and her handlers (great marketing). I am also loving her new new joint with Rick Ross and Ne-Yo.

JustChaz | January 12, 2012 10:13 PM | PermalinkThis is a classic slow jam, I think JHud needs to release this song quickly. It's such a sexy, sultry song. BRILLIANT!
Ange | January 12, 2012 8:33 PM | PermalinkI like it alright. It's a hell of a lot better than most of the songs she does. I think she needs better writers and producers.
IndigoSoul | January 12, 2012 8:06 PM | PermalinkGlad she is trying different subject matter but it's just not believable. This does not sound sexy at all.
