Miguel Shares His 'Art Dealer Chic'

Back when I was in elementary school, I had the biggest crush on this little Blatino cutie named Miguel. Now here I am decades later with another crush on another Blatino cutie named Miguel, but these tingly feelings are of the musical variety.

Since releasing his debut single "All I Want Is You" back in 2010, this young man's music has had me open, and here we are two years later and nothing has changed. What I appreciate about Miguel is that he's a wild card in the game of R&Boring. He's one of the few new school artists who has discernable talent, which is sadly a rarity, and he's genuinely good people – both on and off stage.

This year will see him releasing his as-yet-untitled sophomore album, but he's decided to break us off with Art Dealer Chic Vol. 1, a three-song freEP to get a few new songs out to the masses and tide us over til that time. He debuted the video for "Adorn" a few weeks ago, and it's great to now be able to add this into rotation on the iPod along with the project's remaining two songs, of which the electro-soul groove of "Gravity" is my favorite. If this is what we can expect on his second album, then bring it on. Needless to say, download Art Dealer Chic Vol. 1 right now.
