All signs from my Magic 8 Ball are pointing to 2012 finally being the year that we get Teedra Moses' official sophomore album, The Lioness, into our hungry little hands. Second only to Raheem DeVaughn in releasing R&B mixtapes, Ms. Moses has dropped a slew of those in between 2004's Complex Simplicity up to now, with last year's Luxurious Undergrind being the most recent. She was joined by her MMG label mate Wale on a remix of the mixtape track "Another Luvr," which is now serving double duty as the first single from The Lioness and has gotten a music video to go with. Although the Wale-free version is my preference, he's grown on me in recent months thanks to "Lotus Flower Bomb" and his brief cameo at the beginning of the vid is inconsequential. It's all about Teedra here looking fierce, fabulous, and fine. You can look for "Another Luvr" if you want, but Teedra's not gonna make it easy for you to move on.
