From start to finish, this five-track project is an exercise in seduction, as Mar's sensual vocals tuck themselves into the steady grind of the equally sexy and often minimalistic production. After his sublime introduction to music fans via his 2010 Full Crate collaboration, Conversations With Her, Mar definitely does not disappoint when he steps out on his own, even giving a nod to Conversations' "Surreal Moments" on the beautiful "Her Past." Songs like "Some to Remember" and "Understand the Game" have more of a traditional R&B-feel, while others simply ooze sensuality.
