Mary J. Blige has finally released the video for "Why," the third single off of her latest album, My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act I). Starting off like a sequel to her 2005 hit "Be Without You," this video finds Mary stressing as she wakes up and realizes that she's apparently not happy. She then heads out for a few drinks, meets up with a very dapper Rick Ross and the rest is Belvedere, chandeliers and confetti performance perfection. This is what we needed from the start of promoting this My Life follow-up. This is classic Mary J. in her element. This is the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. But after "25/8" and "Mr. Wrong," is it too late? Do people care anymore? As a fan of Mary and My Life II, I have to say that her team dropped the ball this time around. It's now time to release that Beyoncé duet, "Love A Woman," as a single and prepare for Act II.
