Well, what do we have here? It seems our favorite Swedish imports Little Dragon have been busy cooking up something new and amazing for us to enjoy. After premiering their new song "Sunshine" last month during Absolut Vodka's Encore Sessions, they've now gone ahead and dropped a double whammy on us. Not only did they release the track as a single, they've also gone ahead and dropped the official video. The song is a perfect jam for summer, with it's funky, synthy new wave groove and wonderful harmonies. And though it is shilling for big alcohol, the song is a marked progression from the sound they displayed on last year's amazing Ritual Union. The video is also a progression for the crew. While their videos have always been innovative and inspired, they also came off as very "art school." Putting Absolut's sponsorship (there are several nods to the vodka throughout the video) to good use, LD get's cinematic with it in the clip with amped up production values and beautiful close-ups of an exceptionally fierce looking Yukimi and her faithful musical companions in the dry desert.
