2013 may seem a far way off, but London duo AlunaGeorge are already strapped in Deloreans and marking time waiting for us slowpokes to catch up to their futuristic scope. The beat goes on with "Your Drums, Your Love," which is another crackling addition to their assemblage of songs, and keeps the tension mounting for what is coming on the near horizon for these two. The track borderlines on late '90's-early 2000's pop vibe this side of imported acts like Samantha Mumba or All Saints, but a UK bass twist in the mix prevents this from being too squeaky clean. As I'm still being wooed by their latest EP, You Know You Like It, this little surprise zinger is exactly what was needed to perk up my Monday muddle.
