Will You Be A 'Lover' Or A Hater Of PJ Morton's New Video?

I don't know what I dislike more -- Auto-Tune or Lil Wayne. Actually, yes I do, because I can take the former in small doses if utilized right, but the latter I cringe every time I see his fugly face or hear him on a song. So when PJ Morton used both Auto-Tune and Lil Wayne at the same damn time on the track "Lover" from his Following My First Mind EP that was released this past spring, that was one song that I skipped with no hesitation. But with the release of the song's music video this week I forced myself to listen to it while watching, and I can't help but being disappointed in not so much what I saw but very much so what I heard. The music video details a dinner party gone wrong with all the couples in attendance having some sort of drama that bubbles to the surface over the main course. PJ sits at the head of the table as faces get slapped and drinks get thrown while he sings "I'm a lover, not a fighter." The visuals admittedly match the song well, but it's that filthy mouth Gremlin and his vomit-wrenching lyrics that make me want to just watch this on mute. I know that PJ is on YMCMB and this is a part of the game that he's decided to play, but I'm definitely sitting on the sidelines and shaking my head that he's come to this.
