Siedah Garrett Gives A 'Lovin'' Ode To Michael Jackson

With Michael Jackson's Bad celebrating 25 years of just pure awesomeness, the need to revisit the classic set is imminent as it was an album and an era, that cemented Jackson as the King of all that was Pop. To celebrate Bad's quarter life, GRAMMY-winning and twice Academy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Siedah Garrett has drawn out her pen once again as she composes "Keep On Lovin' You," a musical "love letter" to Jackson. Garrett, a talent in her own right (I can't be the only one who has her '88 debut album, Kiss Of Life?), has been rooted into the Jackson music legacy as well as Bad's as she penned the classic, "Man In The Mirror" and held her own with King Michael himself on their beautiful duet "I Just Can't Stop Loving You." Garrett expresses the friendship she shared with Michael as well as the continuing admiration and remembrance she has for him on this uplifting and moving tribute track. Even though Garrett scribes a more upbeat tune this time out with powerhouse vocals in tow, you might find yourself breaking out the Kleenex by song's end as she truly does a tribute that is fit for a King.
