One of my favorite tracks from Faith Evans compilation album, R&B Divas, is the ballad "Tears of Joy." The Claude Kelly-penned song pulls at those heart strings as it celebrates finding real love after much sorrow, and it's accompanying visuals only serve to enhance those sweet sentiments. The music video sees Faith looking absolutely stunning as she waits to meet her man by the beach. The black and white footage of the video goes on to show other couples portraying all different loves; from the dewy freshness of that first childhood love, to the carefree joy of young love, to the tried and true love with tons of spark that doesn't fade at all with time. For a minute there it starts to look like Faith's beloved may stand her up, but fear not, as thankfully he turns up just in time for the end of the music video.
Check out the video below and be prepared to be filled with that good stuff known as love, and quite possibly shed some "Tears of Joy" yourself.
