It's been a few weeks since I saw Allen Stone in concert, and I'm still on the musical love high that he left me with. Dude was so nice that I had to see him twice in back-to-back shows in Washington, DC and Baltimore. If you have the chance to catch him on tour, please do so. But if you won't be able to see him live this go round, then enjoy this fresh video of Allen in the studio with his band recording the song "Six Years." The track was originally recorded by Tingsek, who is one of the opening acts performing on Stone's fall tour and you'll find numerous videos online of Allen singing this live as well. Tingsek's rendition is dope but in Stone's hands this song is made that much more awesome. The black-and-white visuals from the recording session show the artist and fellow musicians hard at work but Stone makes it look easy with his bluesy soul cover. Hopefully the recording of this song will be released some time soon, but in the meantime I'll just have this video on repeat as I suspect you will, too.
