There isn't much to say about Soulpersona that we haven't already said on these very pages. The man is single-handedly resuscitating "rare groove" one track/remix at a time and his latest effort, once again featuring the wonderful Princess Freesia, reinforces his place as one of SoulBounce's favorite producers. The track in question, "Cocaine," is actually an unreleased bonus cut from The Lapdancer project, but this is certainly no album reject, in fact it stands shoulder to shoulder with each of the album's original 16 tracks. Freesia's unique vocal delivery slithers and slides all over the propulsive bassline and, alongside the epic "You Did It Again," has me itching to get my hands on their upcoming Soulperfreesia album.
