Allen Stone made his daytime television debut yesterday afternoon on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a rip-roaring rendition of the song "Sleep" from his self-titled album. Stone worked the stage and had fun with his performance, and, most importantly, he gave good voice, impressing Ellen and her studio audience in one fell swoop. Those of us who've seen Stone in concert are used to all his awesome, but it's always great to see him and his band in action and getting more people on his soul wagon. The addition of three female supporting vocalists made this performance and sound really pop as well. Enough gushing from me, though, watch Allen and the gang in all their glory right now, and next time he's in your city run don't walk to see him live.
