Kevin Hart's 'Frost Without You' Is Cold Blooded

Although I'm a music writer, I have to honestly say that on a daily basis I probably watch more television than I listen to music. My DVR stays stocked with copious amounts of comedies, dramas and reality shows. As it turns out, my latest TV obsession is a hilarious combination of all three in BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood. The uber-comical spoof of reality shows starring Kevin Hart, Robin Thicke, Boris Kodjoe, Nick Cannon, Duane Martin, JB Smoove and a cast of real and not-so-real characters, is hands down one of the best things BET has ever produced. The sitcom is a 30-minute laugh fest every Tuesday night and last night was no exception -- and may very well have been one of the funniest episodes yet.

While on a heated search for hot sauce during a game of dominoes with the fellas, JB discovers one of Kevin's old Hartfelt CDs -- complete with him sprawled out on the cover with a heart-shaped box of chocolates covering his junk. Clowning ensues and Kevin tries to explain that Hartfelt is just another one of his characters and that they all need to stop hating on his future GRAMMY and Hoodie Award winner. Next thing you know, Kevin decides to record a new song and takes it to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where he debuts "Frost Without You," the most ridiculous remake of Robin's "Lost Without You." Hart's non-singing aside, it's the lyrics about Thicke's wife Paula Patton that has him ready to open up a can of whoop ass on Kev. Everything comes to a boil toward the end of the episode when Kevin throws a big party where he world premieres the music video for "Frost Without You," and Robin gets to see and hear Kevin's ode to Paula in its entirety right before he "blacks out." You have to watch the episode to see what exactly him blacking out entailed, but it was side-splitting comedy. Watch below to see what led Robin Thicke to have an out of body experience and peep the lyrics to the song in all their ridiculousness. And if you are not watching Real Husbands of Hollywood, question your life and your choices because you are truly missing out.
