It's Friday folks, and that means the weekend is upon us. I have a party to attend so I need a pre-party soundtrack to get me in the mood, and XXXY's "Got Me So" has just rocketed to the top of that playlist. The British producer, known for his amalgamation of house, UK garage and bass music, has just released a new three-track EP, also entitled Got Me So, and it's a perfect party starter. All three tracks are great, but it's the EP's title track, with its elastic basslines, pulsating synths and chopped, soulful vocal samples, that really stands out. Check it out after the bounce.
