She took us back to the 1980s with the Commodores' "Nightshift" sample on the track, and now Fantasia travels further back in time with the music video for "Lose To Win." Taking us to the roaring '20s, Tasia is quite the glamour girl in a plethora of sequins, rhinestones, feathers, furs, diamonds and pearls. She has all the trappings of the good life, but all that glitters isn't gold where her relationship is concerned. The same handsome gent who envelopes her in a loving embrace and makes her smile and laugh in one scene can't keep his hands off of other broads and verbally abuses Fantasia in the next. This dude might bring her down, but she's far from out. She wipes away her tears and fixes her mascara-stained face, performs in front of him and his scallywags and in the end finally finds the resolve to walk away. Following the empowering script of the song, this video is a great look for Fantasia.
