If you've seen This Is It, the 2009 concert film that served as Michael Jackson's final bow on the stage, or you've listened to the soundtrack for Spike Lee's Red Hook Summer, then you should be familiar with the outstanding talent that is Judith Hill. However, in case you need a refresher, Judith was serving talent by the pound buffet style on last night's premiere of The Voice. Taking on one-time The Voice judge Christina Aguilera's pop hit "What a Girl Wants," Judith milked the insubstantial ditty for all the soul it was worth, changing up the arrangement dramatically and wrapping her slightly raspy vocal all around it. The panel of judges -- Maroon 5's Adam Levine, country star Blake Shelton and panel newbies Shakira and Usher -- was understandably awestruck, with each judge making a play to get the gifted performer on their respective team. After much debate (and a few slick lines from Usher), Judith ultimately decided to join Team Levine. Judith will face tough competition this season, as more than a few talented individuals have already been selected, but here's hoping she prevails (and, if she does, that Universal will actually market her album -- something they don't seem to be doing with previous winners). Check out Judith's dynamite performance below.
